Oh Ohio, My Party Is Gone

This photo was taken on November 3rd at the Ohio State House. More photos can be found at Cleveland Indy Media. This link is to Ohio's official voter turnout (including the provisional ballots): Ohio Results

Here's a link to Black Box Voting. Send them money.

Here's a video that everyone should watch: Voter Gate

This article by Thom Hartmann at Common Dreams addresses the anomalies in certain Floridian counties: "In Baker County, for example, with 12,887 registered voters, 69.3% of them Democrats and 24.3% of them Republicans, the vote was only 2,180 for Kerry and 7,738 for Bush, the opposite of what is seen everywhere else in the country where registered Democrats largely voted for Kerry. In Dixie County, with 4,988 registered voters, 77.5% of them Democrats and a mere 15% registered as Republicans, only 1,959 people voted for Kerry, but 4,433 voted for Bush. The pattern repeats over and over again - but only in the counties where optical scanners were used. Franklin County, 77.3% registered Democrats, went 58.5% for Bush. Holmes County, 72.7% registered Democrats, went 77.25% for Bush."

This last link is to a story on Wired News about three congressmen (Democrats John Conyers Jr. of Michigan, Jerrold Nadler of New York and Robert Wexler of Florida) who have requested "an investigation into irregularities with voting machines used in Tuesday's elections."

And here's a link to a diary at the monster blog Daily Kos written by Kid Oakland which tells people like me to go fuck myself: Taking A Stand. Believe it or not, the Great Kos endorses this ostrich approach: (For those of you who assume that my promotion of this diary constitutes an endorsement of Kid Oakland's post, well, you would be correct in your assumption -- kos).

And this link is for you, Ala (and anyone else from the opposite side), to prove that partisan politics have nothing to do with all of my anger about this fucked up electoral system we have and about the fact that I am in the minority about this. This link contains a number of different stories alleging Democratic fraud in Election 2004 (of course, I'm not endorsing it...but if any of the stories are true..they should be investigated): Bill Hobbs
